Our Story
We are two women who are weary of the fluff of Women’s Ministry - not that it’s a bad thing (building relationships and doing fun things together is good).
BUT
These things should be secondary to deepening our faith through the study and knowledge of theology, church history, worldviews, literature, and more. Those study guides with two-sentence answers just don’t cut it anymore. We want something more—something heavier—studies that challenge us.
As we search for more challenging material, we find there’s not just one place to go. So, we’ve spent hours searching and researching to curate materials from solid, gospel-preaching men and women all set in one place, here, for you.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help women wrestle with deep questions of the Christian faith by providing a place to study solid, trustworthy material. We believe in teaching women well, teaching women the hard things, and teaching women to teach well!
We Believe
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one being with the Father. Through him, all things were made. For us men and our salvation, he came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit, he became incarnate of the Virgin Mary and was made man. For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day, he rose again per the scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the father's right hand. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.
More Specifically…
We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and inerrant in the original text. Scripture is the supreme and final authority in faith and life. It is useful to believers for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus Christ's deity, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death through shed blood, bodily and literal resurrection, and ascension to the right hand of the Father. We believe He is living and reigning over the whole world.
We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit as a person distinct from the Father and Son and possessing all of the divine attributes. He exalts Christ, convicts people of sin, and enlightens and empowers believers and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.
We believe that man was created in God's image and that the whole human race fell in Adam's fall and was alienated from God. Only through faith, trusting in Christ alone for salvation made possible by His death and resurrection, are we reconciled to God.
We believe in the saved's eternal life and the lost's eternal punishment. There is a literal hell in which all who do not believe in Christ as Lord will choose to go.
We believe the Lord Jesus is coming again to this earth, personally, bodily, and visibly (literally), to consummate history and God's eternal plan.

How We Evaluate Resources
When we evaluate resources, we are essentially evaluating their author. Pastor Charles Spurgeon once stated, “Discernment is not knowing the difference between right and wrong. It is knowing the difference between right and almost right.”
Some authors and their resources may appear commendable and accurate. Indeed, some authors quote church fathers and well-known and respectable authors. However, upon a more profound plunge, we see the root of their beliefs does not align with what we’ve stated above. We often find that the deity of Christ and a low view of Scripture are in question. Therefore, we take the steps below to apply wisdom and discernment. Of course, anyone can surprise us at any time, and despite a sincere attempt at understanding, they may believe differently than we’ve known. We regularly review and assess any authors we commend.
We review several articles, sermons, and books they’ve written.
We review speeches from any conferences they’ve attended.
We review the authors they quote and commend.
We review any questionable authors that commend them.
We review their social media accounts.
We review all knowable affiliations with the assumption that like-minded birds flock together.
